Good place to have an outdoor event. Plenty of parking. Along with a pavilion with tables, there is a playground, restroom, a firepit, and lots of room for the kids or adults to run around.

We hold our dog activity events here throughout the year. The grove is full of beautiful Live Oak trees, so plenty of shade and filtered sunlight. It is easily accessible from the freeway. There are hotels and cafes nearby. There is ample parking, level terrain for those who are alter abled, plenty of bathroom facilities, a covered area with tables, fresh running water and a grill as well as electrical outlets. If you have a travel trailer as I often see parked there, the maneuverability of the lot is clear and wide for turning around. They keep the space very clean and there are even playground climbing and swing features. This spot is worth the drive for community gatherings.

Solid place for events. I've been to a bunch of boy scouts stuff out there when I was a kid. Now that my daughter is in girl scouts we frequent Nelson's for camp and other outings.
