Trowbridge’s is a cute ice cream parlor and sandwich shop that’s been in business for over 100+ years. They keep it simple with sandwiches that taste like your grandma made them and the shake’s are top notch. I loved the chicken salad sandwich and Smokey mountain Fudge Shake!

Man oh man, There's a reason this place has been open a billion years. It's absolutely great!!! Like stepping intfo a time machine and went way back. The staff was so friendly I'm not even sure who my waitress was. 4 girls rocking out the best lunch in Florence hands down!!!! Amazing. Step into the time machine and go back to our great grandparents era. Me and my mother had the Club she got chips, i had Chicken Soup ? . No wonder they have soooo many awards. Wow wow wow!!!

It was blazing hot today with temps close to 100 so what better place to go but to Trowbridge's? I had a chicken salad sandwich toasted on white bread. For dessert, a Banana Split. This place is very unique and is reminiscent of a much simpler time. I highly recommend this, especially in the sweltering dog days of an Alabama summer.

This is a must visit store if you are in Alabama or passing through. Incredible history, fabulous food, people, and experience.
The ice cream flavors are so original and top-notch, quality.

The city itself is beautiful, there is wilson park, couple of blocks away, paid parking available - on street and parking lots. On-street parking is plenty, and it gets you ample time for a few quarters.

We had an amazing time during our visit and highly recommend visiting this place.

Delicious and affordable. I had my favorite tasting scoop of ice cream ever, the orange pineapple. Although the original recipe is made by a different company than the original, I loved it and it almost made me wish I lived in Florence, since you can't get it anywhere else. Highly recommend.

We stopped by Trowbridge's for ice cream on Sunday afternoon. It was busy around the door, but we were told to take a seat where a server came quickly to take our orders. Four of us ordered different ice cream dishes and each one was excellent! Service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was clean with interesting pictures on the wall. Many couples and families were there as well. We would definately return.
