I recently discovered Goody's Diner located at the Pilot truck stop in Colton, CA, and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The diner opens early at 6 AM, which was perfect for me as I needed to be at the office by 7 AM. Over my three-day stay in the area, I chose to eat breakfast there after an excellent first meal.

The service was notable, with Maria, who served me at the counter, being exceptionally nice and attentive. I ordered the omelet with sausage, mushrooms, cheddar cheese, and avocado, which was delicious and well-prepared. Despite the diner's excellent food and service, I was surprised to find it not very busy, which might be due to its older appearance and minimal updates to the decor. However, the quality of the food and the warm service more than made up for the dated ambiance.

I was so satisfied with my breakfasts at Goody's that I plan to return on my next trip to the area in a month. If you're looking for a hearty, tasty breakfast with friendly service, Goody's at the Pilot truck stop is definitely worth a visit.

Excellent flavors, I had the bbq beef and onion rings. They could use a paint job, and foam in the seats

Breakfast for me and my coworkers. The food was good. The diner is a real truck stop and will take you back to the 70's. I imagine when the spot was new and clean, I'm sure it was something. The long counter, the booths, the clocks around the ceiling from different states, the empty pie refrigerators with the slanted holders and mirrors, the hole in the wall where the orders went in and a few minutes later the food came out. Sorry got nostalgic for a sec. Man this is quite a spot with the trucks parked outside. The staff is very friendly and the food was very good. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs with biscuits and gravy. My steak was tender and my eggs were on point. I will be back, I want to try the fresh squeezed orange juice. I recommend this place whole heartedly.

Found this place in a Google search. Had to kill some time for breakfast. They had the best chicken fried steak I’ve had in a long time! My server was very nice and attentive. It wasn’t busy so it’s hard to rate the service when I was the only person seated at the time. They did have several to go orders though.
Back to the food…the chicken fried steak was perfectly fried and very flavorful. The country gravy on top was very well done! Good flavor and not too peppery. The eggs were cooked perfectly. And the pancakes were very good. I don’t know when or if I’ll be in the area any time soon. But I’ll definitely go back.

Goody's is a great little greasy spoon. I work nights, and they open early, so from time, to time, I will stop in for an hearty breakfast. My go to is the country breakfast, which comes with bacon, sausage and ham, three eggs, and your choice of country potatoes, or hash browns. It's quite filling, and tasty. I decided to try the chicken fried steak and eggs today, and was pleasantly surprised. The steak was tender enough to cut with a fork, and the gravy was the perfect accompaniment. You get a choice of pancakes, or toast, I chose toast. I really enjoy this place, and totally recommend coming in, and sitting a spell.

Just like good home cooking, orange juice is even freshly squeezed. The service is great. There's not many dinners like this still around here locally. I would 100% recommend this restaurant.

Homemade salsa is always my to go to on every meal I've ordered. Waitress is very attentive! I love that you can order your eggs in style of egg whites

Has that truck stop diner feel which is nice, has clocks of different timezones, the background sound of dishes clanging and chefs cooking and customers talking make the atmosphere good. The food is good, tasty and good sized portions for the price, worth it. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and it tastes great, a large cup is $5.49 but is worth it. What was bad is the customer service. The waitress we had had no politeness, didn't make you feel welcome and after the initial order didn't come back again to check on us, if we needed another drink etc. Only came back to give us our check to pay and then asked how everything was. I would go again for the food and oj but not for the service. Hopefully it's better next time.
