We had an excellent one night stay with our 1 year old and dog. Everyone who worked at the hotel was very nice and accommodating. I wanted to give Ernie a special shout out, because he went out of his way to be so kind to us. He was one of those people whose personality was so genuine and awesome that it literally left a smile on our face after interacting with him. Give that man a raise or a promotion, he truly goes above and beyond for the hotel guests!

Always trust a Hilton hotel, however this one was sub par. There were bottles for the bathroom amenities, shampoo conditioner, lotion. A sign indicated they were refilled daily. On the second day there I went to condition my hair and the 16+oz pump bottle was totally empty and the shampoo was running low. Clearly they do not check them frequently. Shower only, no bathtub, so that sucked. The pool was always busy. We finally went down there and there was a huge group of people down there being loud and drinking beers and shots they had in a cooler. A bit awkward but at least we got to use the jacuzzi. Not on par with the Hilton Garden Inn Brand. This was a San Bernardino version....IYKYK

Easy check in. Nice rooms. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap & lotion & hair dryer all provided. Coffee area with microwave & fridge. Quality TV. Ice on every floor. Small area in lobby to buy snacks & drinks. Bar, Breakfast & Dinner available to purchase.

Had a very helpful crew and room service was only done while you are out. There was no issues caused by personnel so it was very calm for the time I was there. Only issue is that fights outside could damage your car so do be careful where you park. Still amazing service by the staff though.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn San Bernardino, and while the experience was generally comfortable, there were several areas that could use improvement. The hotel has its strengths, such as cleanliness and thoughtful design features, but it also has a few drawbacks that travelers should be aware of.

One design element I appreciated was the bed frame. The rounded corners are a clever touch that prevents the sharp, painful encounters typical of standard hotel bed frames. It’s a small but thoughtful detail that can make a difference, especially if you tend to move around the room a lot.

The rooms were very clean, and the hot water was reliable—always a priority for me. However, I was disappointed to discover that there was no option to plug directly into the internet. Combined with spotty WiFi on the part of the 4th floor where I stayed, this made working from the room quite challenging. If you’re someone who depends on stable internet access for work or streaming, this could be a significant issue.

The gym facilities were another area where the hotel fell a bit short. With just four treadmills, a small selection of free weights, and limited space, the gym is fine for a quick workout but not much more. That said, it was clean and in good condition, which is always a positive.

The convenience store in the lobby is handy but comes with a hefty price tag—about double what you’d pay at a regular store. If you’re looking to save money, I’d recommend bringing your own snacks and beverages. On that note, the bottled water policy in the room was frustrating. There’s a bottle labeled “complimentary,” but it’s only free for Silver and Gold Hilton Honors members; otherwise, it’s $2.50. This felt misleading and left a sour impression.

Overall, the Hilton Garden Inn San Bernardino provides a comfortable and clean stay, with some thoughtful design touches like the rounded bed corners. However, issues like poor internet connectivity, a lack of direct plug-in options, an underwhelming gym, high convenience store prices, and a misleading bottled water policy detract from the experience. If these are not deal-breakers for you, it’s a decent choice, but travelers with specific needs—like strong internet—might want to consider other options.

Travelling with a small dog, we found the staff very friendly and accomodating. Info sheet was helpful to locate pet area and know the rules. The room was perfect as usual for Hilton.

There were ants in the bathroom, large dog barking from a room nearby several times during the night and at 11pm , very outdated rooms. It did not feel like I was at a Hilton. Will not stay here again. Also didn't realize that breakfast is not free and they do not welcome you with water at front desk even if you are a Hilton silver member. I wish someone in the reviews mentioned this before.

What I liked the most was the standard set up in the rooms, fully carpeted, worktable with enough space to set up two computers, stylish furniture, with enough drawers, bathrooms with enough space, showers with handlebars.
