I always thought Wendy's made the best sandwich but now California Burgers just topped that. The fish was cooked right, crunchy outside but tender inside. The selected lettuce was really fresh, cold and crunchy. The red onion is pungent and a little spicy but supposed to be good for the heart with anti-cancer properperties. Makes for delicious and healthy eat.

Been coming to this place for years! I used to only be able to randomly pop it, living far, but now that I am local- I cannot stay away!! I was recommended this place by a close friend who lived near by. Many things kept me coming back. 1) The only place I can find a REAL Monte Cristo… with JAM! And oh man, it is made well and delicious EVERY time. 2) Always great service, awesome staff! 3) The drive thru option makes this so much more accessible for me, plus I rarely dine in somewhere or walk in a place to get take out. 4) Just found out they are on DoorDash ect!!! Highly recommend!

We've been here a few times but somehow my earlier review is missing. The bacon burgers are pretty good. They use green leaf lettuce which gives them a nice texture versus iceberg, with red onion and some nice tomatoes. The onion rings are super crunchy like they are battered with cornmeal which makes them far too chewy. The fries are like most of the classic burger stands, which means they are pretty darn good.

The service was still just passable, but not welcoming. The prices are way up there though. Scroll through the "Menu" photos and you can see the price jumps about $5 on the "California Best" from $12.99 to about $17.99 in under 5 years.

Really nice small family-owned lunch place. They serve breakfast and dinner as well. When I came there at 2pm ish it wasn’t crowded at all. The food portion was really impressive! Like back in the old days.
Coffee is brewed (not my fav kind)
I paid around $25 for food

If you want small portioned, over/under cooked and over priced mediocre food, this is your place! Don't believe the ratings on this place.

I've been going there since I was 9 and I got a breakfast burrito very recently and was severely disappointed. The tortilla was stale , dry, and tasted bad. It was a tiny tiny burrito compared to their usual and I paid over 15 dollars. I would loooove a refund

It was a frozen dairy dessert emergency after having dinner. My husband suggested we stop and try this place.

Very old fashion atmosphere and menu!

We pulled up to the drive through menu, it took a bit for the worker to come. Perhaps they were busy inside?

The malt machine was acting up so we opted for a Strawberry milkshake. A tad bit pricey.

Husband, kid, and wife approved.

No pictures were taken due the deliciousness.
