The first few times I tried their food were amazing, and their service was nice too; there aren't many salvadoran options in the area, so this place was perfect. But this time I decided to order some pupusas and found this piece of plastic in one of them. I understand accidents can happen and I don't mean to shame the restaurant, I'm writting this to point out that the quality and safety of the food is important. I hope they take this as feedback, rather than criticism, I've had great dining experiences until now.

This is an awesome little hispanic restaurant tucked away in Citrus Heights. I had the carne molida on pickled cabbage and plantains with a side of arroz con gondules. Food was spot on. The molida was seasoned perfectly, and the arroz, on point. She had the mofongo, which looked and smelled amazing. The restaurant itself isn't massive, but if you want some good Puerto Rican or Salvadorian cuisine, this spot is worth a visit.

We came in a little after 9, we were looking for Mexican food open late but we were pleasantly surprised. 2 white people who have never had food like this! I have had fried plantains but never any food like this! We ordered the El Boritracho to share! The steak was so tender the shrimp was cooked to perfection! We will be back you can tell they love what they do!
