The Geek Gathering was held here in 2017. It was fantastic. I liked that there were bleachers available for seating. It was a little warm with all the people in there but other than that, it was a great location.

The Alabama Renaissance Feast was so much fun! They do this every year the third Saturday of October! The tickets go fast tho so watch their Facebook!

Last time I was in the actual coliseum building was for a Percy Sledge concert MANY years ago, but we have been to several events in the large parking area. The city holds an annual shred day event, and this year they had a hazardous waste disposal day there. Those events are very well coordinated and worth while to attend. You just drive through in your vehicle and they take the items and dispose of them. Wonderful programs for our city and surrounding areas!

This is a great venue for a small sporting event or meeting. There are SO MANY stadium seats, space for a concussion stands, ample restrooms, plenty of handicap parking, and it's always CLEAN. Great city run facility!

The city has done a good job maintaining the building. I had not been to the coliseum in many years, until we went to the Exotic pet Expo. It was a clean, well kept space.
