I absolutely LOVED my time at Noe's Nest! I didn't have a car and didn't need one. Amazing shopping and services all within walking distance! I was travelling alone and it was so nice to have a delicious breakfast with Sheila and the other guests. I felt really safe and comfortable. It was so fun to check out all the artwork and antiques, wish I had more time to hang out in the back garden and the wine temple. Next time! This is the only place I want to stay in SF now! Sure , chain hotels downtown are cheaper but Noe's Nest is a special, uniquely San Franciscan experience and I can't wait for more!

My husband and I had a beautiful experience at Noe's Nest in Mission San Francisco. This place was absolutely divine. This was even more special given we had just gotten married and technically was a little honeymoon experience for the two of us.

The owner was a stunning human being who showed us around the lovely home and all it had to offer. It had so much character and energy you wanted to be around. We stayed in the room in the attic which was a lovely view of the San Fran overlook. It brought incredibly funk with all sort of gadgets, photos, art work placed all over the home. I was fascinated. 😍

The garden in the back yard is romantic and it's giving demure vibes. We enjoyed a glass of wine together late after a long day of walking all over the city and it was just what we needed. There is also a metro stop blocks away which we found incredibly useful.

I left knowing I had the full experience of beautiful artistic feel San Francisco had to offer as I had never visited before. I highly recommend spending your time here!

Sheila and her staff do a wonderful job creating a warm, interesting and comfortable environment. The house and property are so charming and there is so much thought that has gone into the space. The breakfasts are delicious as well! Our room was spacious and so comfortable- I slept incredibly well all three nights. The location is also great- walkable and/or a short drive from many attractions.

Noe’s Nest is wonderful! A warm and friendly place, a lovingly-created art space with comfortably-furnished rooms uniquely and pleasingly decorated, and gourmet breakfasts cooked with smiles. It alone is worth your trip to San Francisco, just to spend wondrous time wandering the rooms, gathering spaces, stairways, and garden areas standing, sitting and gazing at the mementos, art pieces, and memories that continually surprise you and let you think and share. The more you wander, the more you’ll see and want to explore.

Noe’s Nest Bed & Breakfast is a delightful home away from home. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Frittata, fresh fruit, cheese, charcuterie, oatmeal, salmon and fresh brewed coffee. The guests are from all over, many repeat customers. Sheila Ash, the proprietor, is warm and welcoming with a fascinating history as a teacher in Harlem, actress in underground theater, and fashion designer. She is connected. We highly recommend Noe’s Nest Bed & Breakfast.

I actually live in San Francisco, needed a little getaway but couldn't leave town, so spent a night at Noe's Nest with my partner as a treat. We had a great time! It's on a fairly busy street, in a charming old Victorian. Once inside, it's pretty peaceful with a great backyard garden, HEATED wine and game room, and lots of charming garden statues. Inside, it's almost like a museum, with a large collection of artwork, photos, memorabilia- FASCINATING- if you are lucky, Sheila will be there to give you a tour. The house is beautiful, Victorian- all the rooms are unique. We were in the Venetian Room, which felt both old and European, but also was very comfortable- GREAT bed/mattress, but also had impressive amenities- a towel warmer and bidet, big flatscreen smart tv, wifi, nice thick towel. We had dinner just down the street, but it's located between two great neighborhoods with just about any kind of dining option you might want. But eat breakfast there! No need to go anywhere- you will find an array of savory and sweet items, frittatas, fresh fruits, pastries, pancakes, spreads, jams, cheese and even some smoked fish. Very satisfying, and the staff was warm and friendly. If you are looking for a comfortable, fun, quintessential San Francisco experience, this is the place for you. Thank you, Sheila and team!

This is the only place I will now stay in San Francisco

The quirkiness and beauty of the hotel and it's rooms and is only overshadowed by the amazing hospitality of Noe. His easy way of chatting with everyone and making them feel comfortable makes you stay extra special at this hotel.

Whatever you do, don't miss the breakfast which is better than anything you can find at a restaurant.
