I usually love the Four Seasons and feel lucky to be able to have been to a few locations. I visited this Napa location shortly after it opened and, very surprisingly, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I ever had--ever. Things that could have been better were (1) notifying us in advance that there was active construction at the pool which impacted our baby's sleep, (2) offering to move our room when we expressed concern about the air quality of the construction for our 3 month old baby, (3) not blaming the city and county of Napa for that construction when we shared our concerns politely over text, because there was also construction on the city road which was not impacting us (4) offering to escort us to our room when we first arrived since we needed the handicap access to get downstairs which left us lost (5) training staff on how to set up the pack and plays/cribs so we didn't have to watch the staff try for 20 minutes and eventually help him do it way past baby's nap time (6) have those things ready in the room in advance of our arrival since we requested it with the booking and called to remind them (7) train the bar staff to make drinks on the menu the same way--I ordered the same drink twice on two different days and they were made completely different--glass, ratio, garnish the second day. (8) training servers to be more attentive to customers. I sat at the bar for 10 minutes before someone offered to take my order, and was the only one there with three staff members who were all chatting in the back, and finally, (9) not getting defensive when customers kindly and constructively share these suggestions over text. I was shocked when the staff member who responded did not apologize or attempt to improve, and instead made excuses for these moments. Yikes!! I suggest going across the street to Solage instead.

Me and my wife celebrated anniversary here. Everything was amazing, the room, the service, the location. The hotel was fully booked but we felt like we was the only one in the hotel! Perfect for couples. Thank you for a great experience!

Fantastic location. Rooms lovely and as always exceptional four season's service before and during my stay. Truss restaurant and bar was fantastic. Amazing filet steak and wine pairing. But highlight was the bar (thanks Carlos) and the sommelier team - Derek and Carlo. Had a brilliant rare and vintage champagne!

Four Seasons Calistoga was a 5 star experience from the moment I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable, and amenities exceptional. The pool area was a lovely oasis and the gym was well equipped for a great workout. The onsite restaurant served the finest organic, delicious farm fresh foods. Overall, the attention to detail and level of service were truly exceptional.

My family of 5 including 2 young children had the most delightful Christmas vacation at the Four Seasons Napa Valley. We booked the 3 Bedroom Villa Suite with a private pool for 9 nights and our winter holiday was nothing short of magical and perfect.

This property is very new, having opened only a couple of years ago. Our guide at the onsite Thomas Rivers Brown winery, Elusa, mentioned that the property was a vineyard prior to 8 years of renovation. It is clear that a lot of thought and careful planning went into this resort. As such, all of the fixtures and aesthetics of the rooms feel brand new, modern and stylish.

As repeat clients of the Four Seasons brand, we found that this property lived up to its excellent reputation for service first and foremost. We have never found a Four Seasons property to feel outdated and anything less of luxurious, but this property exceeded my expectations. We felt that we were given the super VIP experience, and that is what gives paying the hefty bill the satisfaction that it is all worth it; Everyone addressed me by name and all of my requests were answered in less than a few minutes.

Particularly memorable are the front desk manager Franz Hildebrandt who works almost 24/7 to ensure our most attentive care, the executive pastry chef Celine Plano (who gave my young son the most beautiful 1-on-1 private Christmas-cookie decorating experience, baked us 3 chocolate-orange brioche loafs, and had for display in the restaurant a Christmas themed cake that our son asked to look at up close every morning at breakfast), the sommelier Derek Stevenson who gave us the perfect wine accompaniments to our michelin starred dinner at Auro, and even the valet staff who are so friendly and charming.

Speaking of which, the tasting menu at Auro was simply a delight to the senses. We had the Chef's Table seats and it's always cool getting to watch the chefs work (and by the way, you always see someone in the kitchen by 5:00 AM getting started for the day). We have had 3-michelin-starred meals that we have enjoyed less than our meal at Auro; at the end of the day, what matters is that the food tastes good, and the palate at Auro is quite the delight for one's taste buds.

Wine country is not the most kid friendly; most of the wineries require that any visitors are 21+; and so an amazing amenity is that kids 5-12 get to visit the kids club. It is actually very well stocked with toys, games and movies to keep the little ones engaged for many hours. My kids kept asking to go back! They have many options for suites and connections to make the experience easier. This was very helpful for my husband and I in getting some alone time away from the kids.

What else can I say? The massages we got were lovely, the 2 pools and hot tub were awesome, housekeeping service was prompt, I could go on and on. For the family who works hard and looks to vacation hard, this is the place for you.

I just spent close to $6000 on villa room for two nights
Issues
1. Our villa 1701 next to the main road and the parking so it gives you the feel of road side motel and street vehicle noise
2. We left the room at 9am for breakfast, spa treatment and entered back at 2pm and room is still not made up
3. Breakfast is very underwhelming at Truss. I ordered an omelette made with mushrooms and spinach and it was so bland. I requested salsa but they could not figure out the real salsa and I thought that I was in California so it would be easier
4. Spa story is strange. We got couple massage for 50 minutes and they charged $265 a person, reasonable but the option is to pay extra $35 for deep tissue, really? Is $265 for 50 minutes not enough that you have to nickel and dime?
Will not recommend to anyone.

Xmas week 2024 Spent a long stay leading up to Christmas at this luxurious and relatively new resort property in Calistoga and we definitely had a great time as expected of the Four Seasons brand.

In general, one thing that sets this brand apart is the deliberate intention to focus on wellbeing and relaxation. This comes about in the small details and the overall experience of the layout, service and the location.

Being at the vicinity of the famed wine making region of the Napa Valley, the resort has inculcated an onsite winery experience as well as impeccable dining venues while seamlessly providing modern R and R facilities.

I particularly liked the pool layout planning that can cater to all the age groups either seperately or together. The pool temperatures were perfectly maintained during the frigid winter.

Also of note are the special amenities and programs specifically designed on a seasonal and local basis making one enjoy the resort's offerings extensively.

A hallmark of a good resort is truly when one feels that one's stay was too short a time. We will definitely recommend this place to others.

We went to the Residence for a Napa wine tasting trip. Great service as always at a Four Seasons. Restaurants on site were also wonderful. Very attentive staff.
