These people are amazing. Visiting from Minnesota and came across this nail salon. It was all good reviews so I decided to stop by. The shop was clean and the vibe was good. Very efficient workers and nails tech interactions with my girl and I was amazing. Got me a nail salon for life in California for all my visits.

This is my 5th time coming to this salon & I have not had a bad experience. I got my manicure done on Saturday and noticed the gel lifting on two nails so I went back today (Monday) to get it fixed and Helen redid all of my nails at no cost. This is probably one of the only salons I’ve been to that truly cares for customer satisfaction. Thank you Tau Nail Salon for the great experiences. 😊💅

My first visit was fine but the second was awful. I have pretty long natural nails and love getting nail art. On my first visit to the salon, Destiny did my nail art and it looked amazing. It seemed like no one else does nail art so when booking my second appointment I specifically booked it with her. (I am attaching screenshots). I received an email the day before to confirm the appointment and in it, it says "with Destiny". I show up to my appointment and a man name Cam says I am his appointment and does my nails. I was super confused and thought maybe he was just starting off my nails but nope! Destiny had one client after another and Cam did my nails. From my last time being there I knew he didn't do nail art so I wasn't even able to get the nails I wanted which were supposed to be special as they were for my bridal shower. I just think it's really shady of the salon to change the person who is supposed to do my nails last minute and without giving me any notice. I wanted Destiny specifically for the nail art and ended up with someone who couldn't do that and with nails I didn't love.

Aside from the mix up, the gel manicure wasn't a gel manicure. He missed a lot of steps and then added a lot of random steps as well and it took over an hour for just a simple single color gel manicure.

Place is also a bit run down, at my first visit there was a cockroach in the swatch book.

I was so disappointed when coming here after paying $100 PLUS a stupid 3% card charge. Me and my mom came here because they had such good reviews. We sat down and I instantly noticed the reused and communal tools they were using for our pedicures. They were rough when doing our cuticles, they cut my mom and she’s diabetic so something as simple as that is a HUGE deal for her. They took a huge chunk of skin out of my toe that caused serious inflammation and issues wit wearing shoes. My polish didn’t even cover my whole nail bed and before he even started cutting my nails and I said to keep them square and DO NOT round them off. First thing he does with that file is round off my nails. The tools used on our feet were so unsanitary and it was so obvious.

First time getting my nails done here, Last week I went in for dip manicure and hard gel pedicure. I paid $113 plus tip. Helen did my pedi and when she was cutting my nails she cut my skin and made me bleed a little. The bleeding stopped before I left the salon. About 2 days after getting my nails done I started to noticed discomfort in my big toe. On day 4 my toe was painful and red. On day 5 l started to have oozing and pus/blood draining from my big toe. I started antibiotics yesterday (day 6) and I'm seeing a podiatrist tomorrow. I noticed that clean/sterile instruments were not used like they should have been. I don't not recommend this place at all.

Update: I saw a podiatrist yesterday and they had to remove my whole nail due to an infection. Can I get a refund at this point?

I love this nail salon and I'll definitely be back again the staff were very welcoming patient and very gentle. My first experience was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend going here.

My nails were botched from a previous nail appointment and I needed my nails fixed. So I called and they said that it was going to be $50. I got there, the lady, I wish I remembered her name, looked at the picture I showed her said it would be $37. She fixed them within 30 minutes. Everyone in there was so sweet and patient. Not to mention they have Zelle and since my card wasn’t working I just asked if I could Zelle them and the receptionist was very accommodating for the payment method.

I needed a new place to go to. Tau Salon does everything you could imagine. Looking at all the designs and styles they had displayed, I was confident that they could do the designs I would be asking for. Well.. they didn't disappoint me! I love going and getting a new rainbow design every two weeks. They ALWAYS make my nails feel like lil pieces of jewelry.. Ive loved rainbows for as long as I can remember. So, thank you ladies, for working so hard to make my rainbows!

12/3/23 **Mya rocked it AGAIN! Lynn did the rainbow ones..Mya did the silver today...OHHHH..SOOOOO PRETTY!!! Peter did my daughter's nails(not pictured)...and she just LOVES his work!
