My husband and I had our reception at The Florentine in June and everything was perfect! Will West, the event coordinator, is very trustworthy and works so hard to make your dreams come true! The venue is gorgeous, and the food and cake are the best I’ve ever had at a wedding. We still get compliments about it! The Florentine takes care of the food, service, alcohol, cake, decor/setup, and florals, so it’s so easy to only have to communicate with one person about all of this.

I wish we could do it again and look forward to the next wedding we go to at the Florentine!

My husband and I had our reception at the Florentine in February and there are just no words to express how amazing this venue and staff is. Our wedding was so amazing all thanks to the event coordinator, Will West!!! We have received COUNTLESS complements about the Florentine, the food (sooo many comments about the food), and just how smoothly it all went! As someone who had no clue about wedding planning or what I wanted, Will made it so easy and perfect! The timeless elegance and beauty of the Florentine is something you cannot easily find. They also provide in-house catering and florals so the communication between vendors was so simple and easy. I attached a few photos from our day but photos do not do it justice. I could not recommend this venue more!

My now husband and I had our rehearsal dinner in the café and wedding reception in the upstairs ballroom — IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! Every part of The Florentine is gorgeous, the in-house food is amazing, and Will, the coordinator, is super sweet and easy to work with. He will make all your dreams come true. 5 stars across the board, if you are considering The Florentine for anything, GO FOR IT!

It was a excellent place. I went there for a wedding reception and the experience was marvelous. They had a great staff and great food, and there was plenty of space. I would recommend The Florentine for any exclusive event. They had an open bar to serve quickly and everyone enjoyed themselves. Parking was easy since there was a parking lot across the street. Just an amazing place.

My first visit to this place was for a Dream Team Party with Church of the Highlands (COTH). I was very impressed. Although, the location doesn't have a parking deck connected to the building, we were able to park in a deck across the street. The atmosphere was very grand. The space was just the right size to accommodate our group. I'm hoping to have other opportunities to visit this place.

My daughter and son-in-law had their wedding reception at The Florentine in June 2022. From the moment we booked the ballroom (a year in advance) until the reception ended, the entire celebration was almost effortless! I love that the Florentine is a one-stop venue, providing everything we needed in-house, eliminating the need for an outside event planner. The Florentine’s talented team included Will West (events coordinator), Michael Sanchez (florist), and Corretti Catering (buffet, wedding cake, bar service, tables, chairs, and linens). I live in GA, but Will and Michael allowed me to meet via FaceTime when I couldn’t be there in person during the planning phase. The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous even in its barest state, so we added only a few floral arrangements, a live band (OPOV), and an amazing photographer (Hannah Miller), to create the perfect wedding reception! Our guests were blown away by the ballroom’s elegance, delicious food, cake, and beverages. I highly recommend this venue!

The Florentine is a beautiful wedding venue with the perfect dance floor for a large wedding!

We utilized two spaces for our daughter and son-in-laws’s wedding. The Cafe worked nicely for the cocktail hour! The wedding party and guests were then led up to the Ballroom, by a Second Line, for the reception! It was a different and fun!

Michael Sanchez did an amazing job with the florals! All of the food, from the cocktail hour through the sit down dinner and beyond, was delicious! The wedding cake was stunning! We received countless compliments on the entire evening!

Will West, the Special Events Coordinator, is such an asset to the Florentine! They are very lucky to have him as the lead. Will was enthusiastic and helpful during the entire planning process. He was responsive and available for questions and meetings. Will, also, was spot on with all of his referrals! Each one that we used was terrific; including Nationwide Coverage and Ashley Pierce Weddings!

We highly recommend The Florentine, Corretti Catering and of course Will for any event!!

Amazing, magical venue with a staff that exceeds expectations! If you are looking for the best venue in Birmingham look no further. Will West and the amazing staff at The Florentine handle everything! Michael Sanchez is an amazing florist and created the exact vision my daughter in law wanted. The food by Coretti Catering was outstanding and the cake not only was beautiful, it was delicious. One stop shop for ease of planning. Can’t thank them enough for making this a wedding we will never forget❤️
