The staff is incredibly sweet and helpful. They offer a full a bar, food and unlimited towels. This is a great place to meet couples who are in the lifestyle, it was easy to talk to people here and make friends. The atmosphere is relaxing, sexy and fun. The rooms are clean, beds were comfy, and sheets were spotless. It does get crazy at sundown, the freaks definitely come out at night! We will be back.

Nice beautiful retreat. Sadly, we were the only ones at the place. So we didn't have a chance to enjoy more. Nice setting, cozy environment, good music. We went for a day only, so we don't have any idea how the rooms are. We went on a Wednesday in October, and I was a little chill. Hope to visit again.

Pros: Loved the staff! The were attentive and helpful all day. They had snacks and drinks (water, coffee, soda) available set up in the reception area. Lunch was a basic asian chicken salad. I'mgluten-free, so it was lovely to have something I could eat.The hott tub was big and pool was heated. Lots of lounging areas! There was an open (with sheer curtains) play area. We went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was very quiet with only a few other people there. No one was using the massage room (which also has a big bed in it), and we were allowed to lay down for a rest in there before hitting the water again. I enjoyed the art and atmosphere celebrating the feminine. We used a special from there website and got a great price for the level of service and amenities.

Cons: We had a day pass, which gave us access to two showers in common areas. The showers sucked 🙁 We could not get hot water in the large shower inside the locker area bathroom. Staff said there was a sweet spot, but after many attempts, we never found it. The outside shower is open and pretty small. I did find the sweet spot on that one eventually, but it had very little water pressure and it was windy outside so I ended up with a pretty cold shower anyways. My guess is the rooms have better showers but it was a bummer for the day pass. We were really looking forward to "spa quality showers" and that just didn't happen.

Things to note:
- Music is played loudly on speakers throughout the property. The staff was kind enough to turn it down a bit when I asked but that is unlikely to be an option on a more crowded day. If you have sensory issues, like me, you might want to consider earplugs.
- There were limited gluten-free snack options. I'm used to bringing my own food so it wasn't a problem, just good to know.
- There are cameras in the common areas. I appreciate that they are probably there for guest safety, especially when there are a lot of people there. I had zero concern that the cameras were being used for nefarious purposes. Again, it's just good to know, if that's not something you're comfortable with.
- The water is chemically treated. It wasn't really bad though, just enough to be hygienic.
- You have to pay a 6 month membership fee in addition to the day pass.
- Women are centered but within a dominant heterocentric lens. The default assumption was straightness. I would definitely love to see a ladies only event for all the queer and bi babes!

Overall - Lovely experience!
The four stars are because the showers were really a disappointment. I expect better at a spa resort.

We have been coming to SMI for 15+ years, since Dewey first opened it. We have had some great experiences over the years in a very fun environment. We returned this weekend and was warmly greeted by Dewey at the door. Him and Julie and their all female staff including Evelyn, Lisa, Holly make us feel like family. Once again we indulged in margaritas, music, pool and other sinful pleasures. Their customer service is top notch and we will continue to “come home” every chance we get. Thanks again friends! We are very grateful that a place like Sea mountain exists. It is one of a kind and always an amazing experience with friendly and beautiful people of all types. Dewey is the host with the most and does everything he can to make the guests experience as great as it could be.

We’ve been to SMI twice.|SMI feels like a friends backyard that’s been turned into a Bali Shangri-La escape. Lush garden and palm trees. Plenty of loungers under umbrellas. |Our 1st visit was a day pass, we had a welcoming experience by guests and staff. Really enjoyed visiting with the guests-heard multiple times how many had tried other LS spas, and kept coming back to SMI. |NO pressure to play with others. And lots of opportunities to observe. What you may not know already, is how respectful the LS community is. And how respected a couple’s boundaries are. We left wanting to return again and with new LS friends. |Our 2nd visit we stayed Friday-Sunday. |This was lovely. It was great to lounge poolside or in the pool/hot tub. LS folks are so friendly. And you feel very welcomed into the group. |Usually the play starts in the evening. Occasionally there is day time action poolside. The accommodation were comfortable and clean. That of a Marriott. The staff goes beyond accommodating your requests. They are professional while being friendly. |And the guests are equally accommodating. You’ll make fast friends.
