Our first visit here. Hadn't noticed it when driving thru town previously. Found it via word of mouth (even a specific search for "Bakery" and "donuts" on Google Maps failed to find it), which isnt necessarily a completely negative thing, as it shows growth potential (to me anyways).
The place is clean, no gross smells; staff is informative, friendly, and timely; staff interaction with each other is relaxed and focused on the ever almighty Customer; the dining area had 8 or so customers all seated and very much enjoying their time; baked goods looked nice, and those we chose were very fresh; coffee a bit weak but very good otherwise; length of time waiting was minimal; and prices were a bit higher than comparable businesses visited recently.
Disappointed because we asked for custard filled chocolate bars, but only a bite of the bars had any filling...not sure how much we were charged for that. Their prices are higher than other places, but at the same time their quality far surpasses other places.
If they could fill the bars right, my rating would be 5+, and they would stamp out all competitors that I have visited in both Lake AND Mendocino Counties, hands down.
Their goods have a density to them even without the filling; the same difference between breads at Safeway: $1 "air bread" vs $4 "something-to-chew bread".
The custard was smooth, flavorful, and very much missed.

Definate Quality.

And we will Definatley be back.

I was going thru the drive thru to order. A young lady comes out to take my order. Well, the credit card machine was not working.3x she ran my card thru. I ended up paying in cash, found out later that my card did go thru. This has happened twice. Paid for my stuff twice, but I caught it. Not gonna go back.

1 out of 2 doughnut shops in the county. Beautiful display, great atmosphere, offers drive through. Only downside is sometimes the sugar glaze gets burnt and tastes more caramelized than a normal doughnut 🤷🏽‍♀️

No A/C in 100+ degree weather so don't eat in. But their food, donuts, and coffee are phenomenal. Their staff are amazing, accommodating, super friendly and will sub just about anything you want. Drive through is slow but at least you can sit in your car with the A/C on. I feel so bad for the staff who have to work in that heat. Yet, they remain professional and friendly.

I got coffee and doughnuts here every morning last year during my birthday trip. The lady was very nice and i like that you can order in the drive-through. I am looking forward to returning this week for my birthday trip.

The coffee is incredible and the donuts are pretty good they also got this little coin push gambling machine in there that I am addicted and I swear theyve won like six bucks off me in quarters lol
