If you have the opportunity to stay here, it is awesome. Exceptionally well appointed rooms. Especially after the renovations that occurred over the past couple of years. The staff is awesome, and I dare say, the cookies at the front desk are a nice temptation, err....I mean a nice touch!

Our 2nd stay at this Residence/Club. We stayed for 7 nights. Everyone at this hotel was amazing and accommodating. The kids loved the fresh cookies in the lobby, we all loved the serenity of this beautiful residence. We also enjoyed the social hours/wine tasting and the location. Also need to mention the care the team took to make sure we were taken care of, especially Tammy and Spencer. Going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. i attended hospitality school in Switzerland, everything there is so next level and 5 star hotel service in the US is typically just lacking. The Club staff at the Ritz has gone above and beyond during my stay, this is next level service that we all dream about but never really get with no budget. In the future i will never bother to check out other hotel options in SF, this is platinum level service, Rudy and all the service staff work so hard to make everyone staying feel special. They truly understand how to make guests feel like VIPS, and that this isn't just about having the best food or fanciest surroundings (though those are amazing too). The room rates (huge room) are an excellent deal for the experience provided. Thx guys!

I feel fortunate to have stayed here for our wedding weekend and this place is unreal! Top tier service and the rooms are very spacious. Great wine hour as well.

An absolute gem of a property. Service is impeccable, valet is prompt and all the rooms are freshly renovated. Beds are comfortable with nice linens. Bathrooms are very large with deep, deep spa tubs and high end toiletries. There are only a handful (maybe five?) rooms on each floor so it’s very quiet. Our kids loved the cocoa machine upstairs and we loved the nightly wine tasting. The location is still in what we called a “safe zone” even though much of the city is a bit downtrodden (it’s been about 10 years since we visited regularly and the change was noticeable and startling). Public transportation is literally across the street for easy access to the airport or waterfront. If given the opportunity to stay here, take it.

2 stars for health reasons. Although everything was excellent, fluffy beds, nice amenities like non scented soaps in rooms for people allergic to perfume which shows some awareness. But the scent diffusers/ air "fresheners" (YUCK)! in the hallways, lobby, community room, are noxious, completely unnecessary and unhealthy!

WHY must air smell perfumy? Guests are not stinky; the place is spotlessly clean. Scent chemicals are made of petrochemicals that are full of allergens, phylates, hormone disruptors which cause asthma, eczema, and a host of health problems. CDC states that 33.5 %of the population is negatively impacted by artificial fragrance chemicals. That is potentially 1/3 of your customers!

It would be a great service to eliminate air "fresheners" in the Ritz chain so they are accessible to all.

It doesn't get much better than the R-C Club! Yes, the apartment was super, but it is always the staff that makes your stay memorable. Travis, Carmela, Karena, all the valet gentlemen made sure we felt welcome and we'll cared for. The cardio and weight rooms were tops. We had a wonderful stay.
