We held a wedding shower here for my brother and his fiancé and invited about 50 guests. The venue itself has got an amazing and stunning view of the San Diego bay and the best part is that the venue is tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac in the Bankers Hill neighborhood with its own private parking lot. Guests were so impressed by the location and size of the venue that many were wondering how and why they had only just learned about Bankers Hill Club.

Securing the event space was a breeze and Hollis and Willie (their on-site property manager) were so accommodating to our requests about set-up and decorations. We were thrilled to learn how flexible the venue was in allowing us to utilize the space in a way that we needed. They offered tables, linens, section dividers, audio/visual needs, and a really cool grassy wall backdrop for us. The venue can also partner up with a rental and catering company for additional things like chairs, string lights, etc.

Communicating with Hollis and the club was pleasant and reassuring. A week before the event, I provided a layout of where tables and chairs would need to go and what areas needed to be sectioned off so guests didn't wander around areas that were blocked. On the day of the event, Willie (their property manager) had set up the tables and section dividers for us and ensured that the space and grounds were clean, but we set up the umbrellas and chairs ourselves since we had contracted with a different rental company.

We didn't utilize the main hall (which can hold up to 300 guests) since our party had so few guests, and opted to utilize only the balcony space and the sun room of the main hall where we staged our photo backdrop and food. Our guests absolutely loved the location and set up and my brother and his fiancé were completely taken away with how wonderful everything looked.

What I loved most about this venue was their great customer service, and of course, who and what the club's organization benefits (check out their website and history!) We particularly chose this location for its handicap accessibility and private parking lot, but the venue's flexibility with our decorations and needs, affordability, and its breathtaking views were an incredible addition to making this celebration memorable.

I am so happy we had the wedding shower here and would highly recommend this venue for any type of event that is looking for reliability, affordability, space, privacy, great service, and a stunning view. It's a hidden gem of a venue in San Diego that I'm sure will be a setting for more memorable moments and celebrations in the future! Personally, I am looking forward to having more events here at Bankers Hill Club and predict that it will become the go-to event space for me, my family, and friends!

This venue is absolutely phenomenal! This is, by far, the best kept secret in San Diego!

The Bankers Hill Club is a hidden gem on the border of Hillcrest and Bankers Hill.

There is a full kitchen, a stage and multiple configurations available for the large entertaining area.

And the view! The view is the coup de grace! There is a large patio off the West side of the venue with stunning views of the San Diego Bay.

Hollis, the Marketing Director, and Kathleen, the Events Coordinator are both incredibly helpful and accommodating while being amazing resources and providing a wealth of information.

I HIGHLY recommend the Bankers Hill Club!

I wish I had known about this club years ago. The primary purpose is to serve the disabled community but it is a lovely venue for events. The outdoor space overlooks the San Diego bay. The indoor space is large with a stage and fully functional kitchen.

This event space exceeded my expectations. Gracious staff and ability to make the space exactly how you envision. Great for parties, showers, meetings, and weddings. We chose Bankers Hill club for our wedding because of the beautiful view, indoor and outdoor space, value/price, and Irene. She was so helpful in answering questions, providing examples, and creating a family-like relationship with me, my mom, and my husband to-be. I would recommend this venue to anyone listening.

Love this place! A gem in Mission Hills. SD NARPM meetings, held once a month, are now here. The staff is amazing and friendly, and the views are beautiful! Tell everyone you know about it! They do weddings, birthdays, and other gatherings and or meetings. Don't keep it a secret!

They were highly recommended as an event venue. But I've been trying for 2 wks to contact them, andt they don't respond to online inquiries from their website, and nobody ever answers the phone.
Are they still open? Any suggestions on how to reach them?
