Loved the pool and gym. The hotel is located near many amenities. My two issues were that (1) I’m pretty sure the water dispenser in the gym was unfiltered, despite being a filtration device and (2) they do not provide kettles on request. We had to go downstairs for hot water anytime we wanted tea or coffee. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The omelette station was a huge hit with the family — both for quality and service.

This was a very nice boutique hotel to stay in. The rooms were super clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff attentive and nice. The mall across the street was great for food. The hotel bartender was a hoot. I really enjoyed my stay here. Would stay here again. Thanks for a nice stay.

My recent stay at the Ayres Hotel in Chula Vista was a delightful surprise. The hotel's Halloween decorations were a charming touch, and the friendly staff dressed in costumes added to the festive atmosphere.

The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day.

The hotel room itself was beautifully appointed, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep.

The fitness center was well-equipped, and the pool and spa were immaculate. The abundance of clean towels was a nice touch.

The hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The walkability of the area was a major plus.

Overall, my stay at the Ayres Hotel was a positive experience. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Hands down one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff is unmatched with others. I absolutely LOVE the dog suite option they have here. It makes it so much easier to take your pet outside.

Everything about our stay was great! Warm welcome upon walking in. Staff was very helpful with directions since we were not from California. Rooms were clean. Everywhere you went to in the hotel, it smelled clean. Beautiful was small but buffet style it was great! Highly recommend!

Great Hotel, the customer service is top notch ,the detail from the rooms ,super comfy beds,everything is so clean ,the breakfast staff so attentive everything was so good the potatoes, eggs the sausage ,fresh fruit Loved it!! Good: Very spacious & nice accommodations! Microwave & frig in room. Separate tub & shower. Nice, hot free breakfast! Very polite & helpful staff. Excellent location, with plenty of good food choices & close proximity to the Amphitheater. Plenty of parking.
Ick: Very loud for a new hotel, espcly at night. We could hear every step from above neighbors (akin to old apt bldgs!) & every syllable from our next door neighbors. My bed had serious lumps & divets in it, making for a highly uncomfortable sleep!

What a tremendous hotel!
Great location for exploring the nearby retail village and various stores. Close commute to San Diego or exploring places like Balboa Park. Staff all excellent, service was great, Tuesday tacos were tasty and breakfast also perfectly sufficient for the stay.
I stayed here 7 nights and had nothing but good to say!
Don't listen to the reviews about air fresheners, I couldn't smell anything except some subtle scents in the hallway, the room was spacious, clean and the house keeping staff were also excellent.
