I stayed here for a quick, 1-night stay this past weekend to visit Yosemite. Every person from the front desk staff that I spoke to was very accommodating and friendly. We arrived early (10:30am) and they were not only able to get us into our room at that time but also provide an upgrade due to my status.

The room itself was massive and appeared to be fairly new or recently refreshed (last few years). The hotel is pet friendly, as well, and there are dog bags outside behind the hotel which was a nice bonus.

We found the hotel itself to be quiet, comfortable, well located, and a great value. I would definitely stay again in the future.

I stayed here with my family for 3 nights and 4 days during the Christmas holiday. The hotel’s furniture was old and not very clean. The bed sheets were dirty. Housekeeping only comes to your room upon request. When I left my room in the morning, I requested housekeeping and asked for the sheets and blankets to be changed. However, when I returned to my room in the evening, it had not been cleaned, and housekeeping had not come to my room. I had to sleep with dirty sheets because I was too tired, and I didn’t want to create a fuss on Christmas Day.

The hotel has a beautiful view overlooking nature. It is quite small, and there are no activities at the hotel. I could access my room without a key using my phone, which was convenient. The breakfast in the morning was standard but didn’t appeal to me at all, and the variety was limited.

The view and location are nice, situated about 20 minutes away by car from Yosemite National Park, and the hotel overlooks nature from an elevated position. In the surrounding area, there are gas stations, a few restaurants, and markets.

If you want to see snow, you should go to Yosemite Park. The weather changes suddenly there, and while it might be raining where the hotel is located, it’s probably snowing in Yosemite. The staff is very polite and helpful. I do not plan to stay here again. Thank you!

The hotel rooms are very clean, The older lady (who works at the breakfast area) is very good and kind. But the day after Thanksgiving was a disaster at the breakfast area, when the older lady was not here, there was NOTHING WE LIKED. People were even going to other hotels by the hotel for food. But everything else was good but the shower was leaking water a bit.

The rooms are pretty big and comfortable. The staff is also welcoming and they were able to get us checked in late night The room insulation is not so good but turning on room fan can help with white noise. And this hotel is around 1.5 hours away from yosemite. The breakfast does not last longer so go early.

Room was fine. Breakfast was a mess. Ran out of food items on both days of our stay. Front desk staff was kind and apologetic. Apparently management had been notified but whomever manages the hotel was not there. It was a busy holiday time and should have been more than amply equipped to accommodate their guests.
Second morning- no one was cleaning tables, garbage cans were overflowing, stacks of plates near garbage cans, countertops a mess with cereal, coffee, etc, coffee canisters were all empty, no eggs left, no oatmeal, no cream cheese, no fruit, no yogurt and actually- there were never any waffle irons or waffles even though they are pictured in the booking ad.
People were standing around with plates then were told there was no more food, and sorry.
We ended up going down the road to a breakfast restaurant and paid for breakfast. We have put in a complaint with Marriott and are requesting compensation. We at least want our breakfast paid for.
I have stayed at Fairfields many times and have never experienced this. This will be one which we will not stay at again. Nor will we stay at the Holiday Inn and Hampton Inns who are managed by the same people.

Rooms very comfortable, bathroom with a lot space , mattress it was perfect. Streaming in the tv was the best . they hay a small gym area but with the cardio machines and dumbells that you need . The breakfast was very poor. No fruit and waffles machines. And no gluten options. Just eggs. Sausage and bread that taste old

The staff is completely rude and has the victim mentality when talking to them. They don’t listen to your concerns or explanations. They just want to let you know that they feel that they have helped you and then proceeds to not do anything helpful but repeat that and interrupt you. I had an easy request for them and they could not communicate to each other to make it happen. It is half way trained staff since they’re not on the same page about anything.
