Great food! I've been coming here for years and they've improved with every year. Hands down the best food in Colfax. I'm super bummed they changed their hours to lunch and dinner and no more breakfast. If you're passing through definitely stop at Luna's!

I've been a regular at Luna for years and love it. Lauren is always so kind and friendly and Mario always has a smile and makes amazing food. They have done quite a bit to draw our community closer together and for that, I thank them.

Great Mexican food, service and very reasonably priced. The only negative is the cigarette smell coming from the bar 2 doors to the west. However, if you sit towards the right side of the dining area (as viewed from entrance) , the positive ventilation pressure blows it past you. Sit next to the vent on the R/H side.

amazing.
I have had several things off the menu and everything was perfect. good friendly service and kid friendly staff. the only bad thing I can say is they are not open sundays. my family and I go there every chance we get. I have left work early just to go home and take my family to lunch there.

Why three stars? Ordering seems to take longer than it should due to whomever is the cashier. Also the menu should have more breakfast style meals. However it's a wonderful place to gather for midmorning coffee and a bite, but limited in breakfast offerings.

The espresso, pastries & breakfast burritos at the former, smaller always kept my wife and I coming back. Well, the new place is Whoo-Hoo! Fresh, Local, Natural, Fantastic! The Breakfast Burrito/Bowl is a perfect blend of eggs, choice of meat, black/pinto beans w lots of veggies. Also had the Mexican Chicken Salad-Delicious. These are 2 of a long list of breakfast and lunch entrees. Yes, the espresso drinks, pastries & pie remain top-notch.
IF you're out there on I-80, Google your tail to Cafe Luna, Colfax. YOU won't regret it!!!

I love Cafe Luna! It is one of my go-to places for food, and my favorite place EVER to go get a chai. They roast their spices and brew it all day in-house. Beware, it is heavy on the ginger (which is exactly how I love it!).

I haven't really been in for lunch or dinner, but their breakfasts are awesome! I usually go for the Power Bowl (a breakfast burrito without the tortilla. I get it without beans, and I think the chef Mario adds an extra egg in there) or the Travis (a bagel with cream cheese, avocado and bacon). Pretty much all of their breakfast food is amazing. The Chilaquiles are fantastic, and definitely more than I can eat in one sitting. My husband generally orders the Huevos Rancheros with 4 eggs (it usually comes with two) and that holds all 6'10" of him over until lunchtime. They also make their own red and green hot sauces. The green (milder) is delicious. The red (habanero) is supposedly really hot and of no interest to me. I definitely recommend them! But don't go on a Sunday or Monday; they're closed.
