Amber and Daphne cottages were just recently remodeled and they are great! It has the rustic cottage feel with modern heating and walk-in shower. A headboard would have been nice, though. The location is in a residential neighborhood, but otherwise close to the town

We really loved it here. The cottages are beautifully appointed. Comfortable, cozy, serene colors and natural materials. I especially appreciated the warm light of the bedside lamps, the bedside tables on both sides, and the comfortably medium-firm mattress.

The location is very good. It's just a 15 minute walk from town, and there are sidewalks the whole way. It's also a pleasant walk, with trees, attractive houses, and a creek on the way.

The Piety Hill Cottages are the Best place to stay in Nevada City!! They are centrally located in this tiny mountain community that offers such a wide range of opportunities! Many of them are within walking distance: grocery stores; coffee shops; restaurants; numerous shops on the single Main Street (Broad St); the many paths of the historic Tribute trail that actually goes through the town itself; and so much more!!

Fantastic place to stay! The rooms are super clean and have a ton of lovely touches. I love the location - it’s super quiet but walkable to downtown and 7 hills neighborhood. All the amenities are high quality and the bed is one of the best I’ve ever slept on. Can’t recommend enough!

Really cute accomodations. Lovely updates, keeping original character features. Clean & thoughtful.

Vrtual check-in, staff only seemed to be availible via text message. Everything went smoothly.

Next to a major street, with some road noise, but was not disruptive.

I have nothing but good things to say! Self check in was easy, and the cottage was just as cute as the photos online (which lets be honest, isn't always the case). The bed was super comfortable, the AC worked great, and my favorite thing: the rainfall shower. AMAZING. The cottages are a short walk into town, and there are lounge chairs outside, and just in general I loved the attention to detail in the cottage: plants, wine glasses, coffee... We will definitely be back!!

I stay at hotels 30-50 nights a year and this place is as good, if not better than most of those. Everything was perfect, comfy bed, small kitchen area, and great location. A few restaurants within a few minutes walking distance, the Los DOS Hermanos restaurant is awesome. Highly recommend these cottages.
