The comfiest bed ever. Nice clean room. Friendly staff. Great location. Only downside was no coffee or tea in the room. The scones served in the morning were fresh and delicious. Within walking distance of downtown shops. Unfortunately most were closed due to the Christmas holiday.

Stayed here for our anniversary. The rooms were gorgeous, and no TV because it is old, and yes the floors are not completely soundproof, this is not Vegas. It’s historic, the decor of the whole hotel is beautiful, learned that 4 US presidents have stayed here.
That said it was clean; as updated as possible while keeping the charm of original hardware, and the staff were accommodating. LOVED the historic bar downstairs, cocktails are pricey ($15-$18) but it’s in a small town and it is a beautiful space. The restaurant was great too. Had their house made gnocchi and short rib. Don’t sleep on the appetizers, the burrata with herb rubbed bread was SO GOOD.

This hotel is pretty darn amazing! My other half and I stayed there for two nights during the beautiful holiday season. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the hotel was stunning, and the town is uniquely amazing. The only drawbacks are that the front desk is not adequately staffed, but when it is, the attendants are amazing and so knowledgeable and kind. Shout out to Danny one of the nicest people we have ever met. And the parking situation at the hotel is subpar. Street parking is hard if not impossible to come by at night, and the parking lot is not only for a hotel guest but restaurant and bar guests so it fills up easily and can take quite some time to get a parking spot when coming back in the evening from being out. The fact that the amenities fee covers parking is somewhat of a joke. The general manager did make the situation right to the best of her abilities but if you care about having to sit in your car, waiting to park after a long day for quite some time, then you might want to stay somewhere else locally.

The location is perfect to enjoy the festive old town. Room is clean and comforable. But be aware, as mentioned on their site the walls are paper thin and no everyone will abide by the quite time rule which hampered my stay and I had to move rooms. I should of complained but I try not to be that person. Parking, as noted on their site is limited and i did have to find street parking one day which is not ideal as a single woman onn business trip. But overall loved the hotel and the vibe, next time I will speak up!

This is the second time that my girlfriend and I have stayed at the hotel. We love staying at the Holbrooke and it feels like you have gone back in time. The rooms are great and the bar and lobby area are absolutely stunning and spending time downstairs on the lobby couch and/or dining room while enjoying the free coffee and scones is a perfect morning.

We were attending a concert at the performing arts center and the bar was closed when we got out, very inconvenient. It would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room, especially when we were out back in the carriage house. Other than that we enjoyed our stay..

We had a wonderful "staycation" at the Holbrooke Hotel. The room, food in the dining room, and staff all were exceptional. The Christmas decorations, including the tree, were stunning. We recommend the Holbrooke to visitors and locals alike.

The worst experience we’ve ever had at The Holbrooke. Nothing but loud partying into all hours of the night, followed by the same inconsiderate hotel guests very early in the morning. Kids running up and down the hallways, screaming at all hours. All of that was never monitored or corrected by the hotel staff. ||I am local, and thought I was getting a local discount; maybe I did, but I can’t tell from my bill. The one thing is that I was charged only $ 152.20 for my first night’s stay, but it jumped up to $296.70 for the next two nights and in the same super tiny, loud room. We were going to complain after the first night of loudness, and ask for a different room, but assumed the same partying guests would’ve left by the next day and they hadn’t. We stay at The Holbrooke pretty often just for convenience since I manage Cork 49 down on Mill St., but there are a couple of other hotels, within walking distance, that I will be using from now and recommending to others, until this issue is resolved.
