I love going to the 8th St. at the Ivy. Wonderful courteous and professional service. great food, drinks and atmosphere. My husband and I always seat at the bar for both drinks and dinner. Megan and Kevin are both very attentive and considerate hosts/bartenders, as well as the manager, Peter. Can't say enough good things about the place and everyone who works there. It's the best place in Cody, Wyoming.

Delicious burger. Fries looked more "hand-cut" in the review photo that caught my attention. The ones that came with my burger were a little less natural.

Great service. Bugers was cooked to perfection and served hot.

I had a salad the first night dining here. It was excellent!! Great flavor, good presentation, just how I ordered it.
The second night I ate here (stayed two nights at the hotel) I was so disappointed. I ordered the meatloaf and it looked and tasted like two charbroiled hamburger patties. They had very little flavor and just weren't good at all. I left over half my meal.
The bartender waited on me and he was very nice, fairly attentive (he was bartending, too) but overall delivered great service.

Had a great solo dinner with delicious food. Katie G provided amazing service and helped me decide what to eat from all the great options. I had the ribs and steak quesadilla. Both were good but the quesadilla was my favorite and filling. The restaurant was full of people that sounded like they too enjoyed their meals and evening. Plenty of parking and service dogs allowed inside the restaurant.

Not sure where the rave reviews came from. Food was average and the fish n chips were awful. Not sure if the fish was frozen with batter or old oil but it didn’t even look appetizing when it came out.
Onion rings were cold and not crispy. Meatloaf burger was bland.
Have to say that the staff were super friendly and great wait staff. Shame they are let down by the food.

Megan, the bartender, is a real piece of work. Never had a bartender act as if they were irritated by asking for a butter knife and plate for our bread at the bar. Decided to sit at a table instead of dealing with the attitude. When asked to speak to the manager, he came to the table with an attitude too. When asked if he had spoken to Megan, he responded "yes I wanted to know what I was walking into" as he threw his hands onto the table like he was looking for a fight with my wife. When I stood up to address him, he backed off. I told him I would like to pay for my drink and leave his response was "it's on us" threw up his hands and walked away.

Thought bestwestern had their act together with this type facility, but the people here are still subpar just like any other location. I used to use bestwestern for business for travel myself and my employees in the past, but this visit just conformed that I would rather sleep in my vehicle than spend my company money with another company that treats their customers this way.

What a great restaurant! It is actually located in a hotel, and you have to get there early, as it seems to fill quickly. The food was outstanding--delicious and elegant. Our service was also terrific. She was professional and caring. No need to ask her for anything, as she was attentive to needs. I am attaching some photos, so you can get an idea of the quality of this outstanding restaurant.
