My wedding was so beautiful inside 61 venue!! Who knew a hurricane was going to come up from the gulf and drown out all our outdoor venue plans. However Lori was on it and plan B was to have the ceremony inside, sadly. However, it was just as beautiful and absolutely perfect!! Lori is a huge help and will have your back for everything you need.
My guests were bedazzled by the absolute beauty of the barn. I got so many compliments from them! I just can’t say enough about this gorgeous venue!!

My daughter and son-in-law just had a magical wedding at 61 Venue. The whole setting is beautiful, particularly the rustic inside and out of the facility. Lori and her husband were super helpful and when we had forgotten something down at the beach house, her husband went and retrieved....no questions asked!
If you are looking for a peaceful setting for your wedding with beautiful views and roaming wild life, then 61 Venue is the place to go! We have received so many compliments regarding my daughter's wedding and it wouldn't have been possible without utilizing 61 and it's accommodating owners. Adding to the loveliness of 61 is that you can rent houses through Southern Illinois Vacation Rentals for the wedding party to reside in that are within walking distance of the venue. I believe this aspect set the vibe for our magical day! Check it out if your in the market for a great time!

This past weekend, my now-husband and I got married at this magical venue! We spent a lot of time planning with Lori, the gracious venue owner, which always put our stresses at ease! Lori was always so reliable for her experience and her knowledge of how weddings work, the day was so successful because of her expert coordination and enthusiasm! The venue itself is such a wonderful place, it is so tranquil at any time of the year. I cannot recommend 61 Venue enough for its ease of use, great company, and beautiful atmosphere and ambiance.

We got to host our sorority's semi-formal at 61 Venue and I could not imagine having it anywhere else! Lori was so attentive in the planning process, and when the day came she took care of everything to make sure we had a great time! I would love to host another event here. 61 is one of, if not the best venue in southern Illinois! Thank you Lori!!

Beautiful venue! If you are looking for a magical place set in the woods, this is the place! Rustic, vintage and charming! Our daughter and son in-law had an amazing experience getting married at 61Venue. The owner, has an incredible amount of knowledge in the wedding industry and will guide you through planning an event! This place alone is beautiful. Lori & Dillman have really kept the beauty of this place alive. They were both super helpful from helping us get set up to keeping things cleaned up and in order during our wedding. Their beach house was also just a beautiful place where we had our rehearsal dinner on the deck overlooking the lake and a gorgeous place to get ready with my girls. Lori was always checking in to see if we needed anything during our stay all weekend. She even brought down some of our koozies she made to the beach house for our guests during rehearsal dinner. They truly feel like family to us and I would highly recommend this place for weddings or any get together for that matter. I actually miss being out there.

We had the most beautiful experience having our wedding at 61 Venue! The grounds and scenery are gorgeous! We have received endless compliments from family & friends of how beautiful the venue was. We loved having our own cute little beach house to stay at for the weekend. Lori and Dillman were wonderful, and it is very obvious they have a passion for and love what they do. Lori goes above and beyond to coordinate and decorate, and make sure you have a worry free night. They were the nicest people and thank you so much to them for being so accommodating. We didn’t just get married, we made friends along the way. Make the drive to visit the lake, you will fall in love! Book your wedding here, you won’t regret it.
